To date, there have been a total of 204 confirmed fire incidents in Tesla cars. 71 people lost their lives in these fires. Finally, last night, a truck loaded with Tesla cars caught fire in Tuzla, Istanbul. As a result of the fire, all 6 vehicles in the truck became unusable.

The truck driver stated that after seeing smoke coming out of the vehicles, he immediately got out and tried to intervene with a fire extinguisher. However, electric cars are extremely flammable due to the batteries they contain and extinguishing them is quite difficult. As a result of the work of the firefighters who arrived at the scene, the vehicles were extinguished in approximately 1 hour.

On the other hand, citizens around the area report that they heard an explosion. This situation also coincides with similar events abroad. In the incident that took place in the US state of Florida on April 24, it was reported that a Tesla in a car dealership started a huge fire after a small explosion sound.
